Hey Guys,
Last night I went to a restaurant with some friends and business associates. While it was a decent place to hang out with friends, as soon as I walked in I knew it was a lousy place for the purposes of attraction.
Why? Several reasons. But before I get into them, there’s one important thing you need to understand: while there are factors in attraction that are hard to control, location is NOT one of them. And it is vital you choose your location wisely.

What was wrong with this place from an attraction point of view? First and foremost the lighting was dim and it was… red.
Now, dim, red lighting was perfectly fine for “rig for red” operations on the submarines I was on, but it is terrible for attraction. If you can’t see her facial expressions and body language, you’ll miss out on important attraction cues.
Worse, if she can’t see yours, your ability to use these important elements in attraction is inhibited.
But, it gets even worse. Along with the “rig for red” conditions was loud noise from multiple sources—other people packed tightly together, loud music blaring, and the drone of multiple TV’s in the background.
If you can’t hear her… and she can’t hear you… it is darn near impossible to create attraction.
What you want is a quiet, reasonably well lit environment where you can use your words, facial expressions, tonality, gestures, touch and energy to create attraction. This place was the antithesis.
The good news is, you can ALWAYS choose your environment—a decent coffeeshop during the afternoon, or an upscale steakhouse with professional waitstaff at night are almost always sure winners.
So don’t handicap yourself before you start. Choose your location wisely, and let it help you create attraction.
On with the fun…
