Dahl’s Anti Disco Army

Hey guys,

Yesterday I was riding the bike in the gym, when ESPN aired a rather unusual segment.  It had to do with a baseball promotion way back in 1979 put on by a Chicago DJ named Steve Dahl.

Dahl was a rock and roll DJ who hated disco, and his idea was to end it for good by blowing up a huge box of disco records at a baseball game at Comiskey park.

A whole new approach to dating, women, and relationships that allows me to choose my own relationships with women, anytime, anyplace, anywhere, devoid of all heartbreak or misery, and I’m convinced any man can copy what I’m doing, no matter your looks, age, or income.  Why would any sane man reveal these secrets if they were true?  To discover the answer go to  http://www.johnalanis.com/ultimate_system.htm right now.

A huge crowd arrived (more than 70,000) people, many bringing records to blow up.  Most were drunk, some were high.  All were rowdy.  The event got completely out of hand, with fires being set, and the drunken crowd running onto the field to create mayhem.

All of this was caught on video, and happened over 30 years ago.  Now, here’s what’s interesting about watching this video 30 years later.

While the crowd is rowdy, just about everyone is fit.  Men are running around without their shirts, and surprisingly they’re all in really good shape.  Sure there are one or two fatbodies, but those are the exception, not the norm.

The other interesting thing is this:  that crowd was hungry for something, and it was the opposite of disco.  They were ready to rock and roll, and they were just waiting for loud, brash, cocky bands to sweep disco aside and fuel their appetite for mayhem.  A year or so later they got their wish when heavy metal burst on the scene, fueled by crowds like them across the country.

Watching this blast from the past was a stark reminder of how far people have fallen.  Nowadays, they’re dull, fat, and lifeless.  If a crowd tried to run onto the field in this day and age, they’d get about three feet before they all started wheezing, and some would have heart attacks.

No, getting drunk and aggressively running onto a playing field is not a bright thing to do—but it IS a channeling of robust male energy, albeit misplaced.  But in this day and age, that male energy is just about gone.

Few men have it, and even fewer men use it.  But if you do, and if you channel it properly, when women meet you, they’ll be mysteriously attracted.  They won’t know why, only that you have something other men are lacking.

On with the fun….

PS  In the end Dahl’s anti disco army DID accomplish it’s goal—disco died a fast and miserable death, and loud rock and roll ruled for a decade.

Now, if only Steve Dahl can raise an Anti-Alternative Army… maybe he can do to that garbage what he did to disco.
