Dating Advice From Dummies

Hey guys,

 

Want dating advice?  It’s really easy to get.  Just turn on the TV.  Ask your buddies.  Ask your female friends.  You’ll get all kinds of dating advice.

 

The issue is, of course, the quality of that advice.  People love to give advice about things they know absolutely nothing about or have no experience with.

Just go look at all the dating advice columns all over the internet.  It’s all what “should work,” not what does.  Or, at best, it’s advice on what not to do.

 

Advice in and of itself is not a bad thing—it’s a good thing.  But unqualified advice from unqualified sources always leads nowhere fast.

 

Before you decide to ask someone for advice, you’d better be sure they are truly qualified to give it.  How do you know if they are?

 

Two ways:  one, if they get results following their own advice.  Two, if others have followed their advice and gotten desired results.

 

Unfortunately most people base their decision on accepting advice on how good the so-called expert sounds or how many credentials he or she has.  This has nothing to do with the real world however, and most advice from these people is worthless.

 

The bottom line is this:  unless they meet the criteria above, advice givers are dummies.  They may sound smart, but the only thing that truly makes people smart are the results they get, not how good they sound.

 

Don’t take dating advice from dummies.  You’ll just wind up feeling like a dummy yourself.
