Yes, there will be pain, but…

Hey guys,

Some people like to brag about their high tolerance for pain.  They say they love it, and they seek it out.

Quite frankly, I think this is crazy.  I don’t like pain.  I don’t actively seek it out.  But I realize it is, at times, the price you pay for success, and I’ve trained myself to endure it.

What if everything you ever thought you knew about dating and relationships was just plain wrong?  Would you keep doing the same things and getting the same results?  Or would you try something new and radically different?  To stop dating, and

On the flip side of the pain seekers (and most of these people seek pain with no purpose, a fool’s errand in my mind) are the vast majority of those who shrink from pain, no matter the reward.

At the first sign of emotional or physical pain, they immediately quit, the squeal to others about how horrible it was.  Hell, many of them form forgettable alternative bands and whine on and one and on about their tiny dose of pain.

Like it or not, the ability to tolerate and endure pain for a purpose is a success skill. This involves physical, mental, and emotional pain as well as all three at the same time.

When you experience pain, you must be able to continue functioning at a high level.  That means you mentally set aside that pain, and keep doing what you have to do, despite its presence.

Now, there is, of course, a difference between pain and injury—if you’re injured, it’s stupid not to get proper treatment, get healed up, then get back in.  But most people mistake pain for injury, using it as an excuse to quit.

Look, if you want to be successful at attracting desirable women, there is going to be pain, mental and emotional.  You’ll probably be embarrassed, humiliated, rejected, and heartbroken, BUT, once you know you can function under these conditions, you’ll be primed for success.

The man who quits under adverse emotional conditions will never attract the woman he really wants.  But the man who keeps on under such conditions will eventually get to where he wants to go—with a whole new, very powerful skill to boot.

On with the fun….
