I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the economy is about to get a lot tougher. And that’s going to test many men and their relationships with women.
It will also bring out the true character of most men, and sadly, most men will be lacking. Today’s man just is not equipped to deal with duress.

I already see it happening. When financial situations get tough, instead of looking for ways to EARN more money so they can honor their financial commitments, most men are taking the welfare way out and either looking for a handout, or worse yet, things to return.
This, of course, does two things. It merely forestalls the inevitable by a few weeks at most, and worse yet it reinforces the existing pattern of behavior that got them into the situation in the first place.
Yes, times are tough, and if you factor in under-employment, and those who are not counted by the unemployment figure, there may be as many as 25% of the country that do not have jobs. Pretty bad.
BUT—that means there are 75% of the people who DO, and that’s still a pretty darn good number. If you consider yourself a superior man, you should at least be able to better than 25% of other men… or you ain’t superior by effort at all.
Superior men do not crumble under duress, do not panic and start looking for things to refund and return, deliberately stealing from the business they bought they from. They look for ways to cut future costs AND increase their income at the same time. They’re forward looking, not backwards looking.
What inferior men don’t get is this: they will soon run out of things to return and refund, and the pittance they get from that will be spent quickly. The underlying problem (which is self created) still exists, and until they take on the behavioral characteristics that address that problem, it will forever be with them.
How do you think they women in their lives will react when they see a display of cheapness and thievery under duress? It’s very simple: they will simply do what they see him doing, and return him.
Women always prefer men with fortitude and character, and never more so than in times like these. Now is the time to make yourself into that man, eschewing those inferior men who panic and piddle at the first sign of duress.
Why? Because if you think it’s bad now, just wait a few months. The rest of the economy may tank, but the divorce lawyers are about to get fat and happy. Don’t you be one of the men supporting them.
