Can you REALLY learn anything from women about women?

Dear friends and subscribers,

Can you really learn anything about women from women? Well, yes and no. Most women will tell you what they think they want, not what they respond to. But every now and then, you come across a woman who tells you what women truly respond to.

My friend Shelley McMurtry is that woman--and a few weeks ago, I got her to reveal, in a private phone call (limited to only 30 people) her most forbidden attraction secrets, the truth about what women respond to. I must say it was quite a revealing call, and I found myself taking notes, even though I was the one interviewing her.

The bad news is, you missed the call. The good news is, I recorded, and for a limited time you can get your hands on the CD's of this remarkable call, where you'll discover first hand from a woman what women really respond to.

For all the details, simply go to http://www.johnalanis.com/ultimate_attraction.htm before I decide to remove this site for good... after all, I don't want the whole world getting in on these jealously guarded secrets.

On with the fun...

The danger of "instant analysis"

Hey guys,

Well, the 2006 NFL Draft is in the books, and the instant analysis has started. Without ever playing a down, teams are being assigned grades by sportswriters (who, to their credit, really don't like grading current drafts) and their decisions are immediately judged as good or bad.

Back in 2002, the Dallas Cowboys looked like they hit it out of the park in the draft. Yet, from that draft, they only have one starter, and one backup (who never developed into a starter) left.

In 2003, it again looked like they hit it out of the park... and this time that judgment was correct. They have four starters (with one Pro Bowler--Witten, one who should be-- Newman, and one who probably will be--Bradie James). But it took a few years to prove that snap judgment correct.

Instant analysis is often very wrong, and making decisions from it can be even worse. Many guys meet a woman, then after a week or two, do a bit of instant analyzing, decide she's "the one" and get into a relationship doomed to disaster.

Or, a guy meets a woman, his friends don't like her, he listens to their instant analysis, and walks away from a woman who could have been a real asset to his life.

Now, don't confuse instant analysis with qualifying and disqualifying. If you see traits in a woman you know will lead to trouble, then end it and quickly move on. But don't draw rosy conclusions based on incomplete facts, i.e. "I feel great around
her, therefore she's the one."

Qualification is fast, analysis is slow--make sure you keep it that way.

On with the fun--
