Why a younger woman says today's older men are so attractive

We're getting closer to the Ultimate Attraction Immersion Event, and the discounts are about to expire. To get registered, head on over to http://www.johnalanis.com/event_reg.htm Wait too long, and you will have to pay full price.

Today I want to share with you a great email from one of the ladies on my list, confirming what I've been saying for a long time--today's younger women are attracted to older men more so than ever.

What if everything you ever thought you knew about dating and relationships was just plain wrong? Would you keep doing the same things and getting the same results? Or would you try something new and radically different? To stop dating, and start living, go to http://www.johnalanis.com/ultimate_system.htm before this site is removed.

Dear John

I am one of your women readers and I just wanted to say your mail about whiner bands/singers and the James Blunt video really made me laugh. Popular music today is so terrible, even for a younger person like me (I'm 29). My husband is 20 years older than me and there is a reason I am with him, he is a real man. When I hear you describing what women want in your mails I just grin because I know you are right, and the qualities you describe are exactly the reason I married my husband. When I first met him I was dating another guy, and we became friends, in the end I left my boyfriend to be with him because he had 'personal authority' and a 'naughty boy sense of humour', he was good company and he was fun and he didn't make me feel as if he needed a mommy or someone to look after him. (I am a strong person and I tend to draw these 'I need a mommy' wusses because they sense I have the strength to carry them, but no way, I'm not up for that, just because I can doesn't mean I will or want to)

I'm finding a lot of my girl friends are also ending up with older men because they are either of the pre-wimp generation or have been around long enough to start knowing and accepting themselves, and developing some self respect, and have stopped behaving like wusses. Have you seen this trend occuring in your broader experience?

I really enjoy getting your mails every day, I am always trying to learn and grow and get as many perspectives as possible and I find I learn an awful lot from them and they are really entertaining :-).

JA: Thanks for the great email, Candi--what you say is very important for guys reading this to pay attention to. Looks, age, income don't matter--but attitude, personal authority, and a great sense of humor are key. All of those are controllable, and any man can use them to create attraction.

The other point guys need to pay attention to is this: if a woman doesn't feel attraction for you, she'll find a man who makes her feel it. The good news is this, though--learn how to be an attractive man, and you'll have lots of women flocking to you, maybe more than you can handle.

And, yes, I have noticed a trend of younger women seeking out older men, due to the reasons you've stated--younger men just don't make them feel attraction. They listen to too much James Blunt, not enough Motley Crue.
