You're about to miss out on a deal

As you may or may not know, my 36th Birthday Week Sale ends tonight, and with it a substantial discount on my most popular products. To claim your savings, you must hurry--there are only a few items left at these low prices, and they may be gone by the time you get there. In fact, I have already sold out of my King's Keys and Ultimate Attraction Roadmap Teleseminars, and I am very close to being out of my Ultimate Systems. Fast action is necessary on your part to be sure you don't muss out on these savings.

The event page is located at: http://www.johnalanis.com/bdaysale.htm and it ends for good tonight Thursday, January 11, 2007 IF everything is not gone before then (like I said, some items are already gone). 54,051 people have gotten this email, so it's imperative you hurry.

On with the fun...

The last flight of the Tomcat

Before we get started with today's episode, I just want to remind that today is the last day of my 36th Birthday Week Sale. This is your opportunity to claim a fat discount on all my products, and you can do so by going to http://www.johnalanis.com/bdaysale.htm right now. This sale ends tonight at "two minutes to midnight" (for all you Maiden fans), so fast action is necessary on your part.

Every time you have a birthday you can't help but notice how fast time is passing, and how it seems to pass faster as you get older. But I really didn't realize how fast it was moving until I turned on the History Channel last night.

They had a show on called, "Modern Marvels," and this episode was entitled The Last Flight of the Tomcat. Surely they weren't referring to the F-14 Tomcat, of Top Gun fame, were they? Yep, they were, and it turns out in Sept 2006 the last Tomcat was retired from the fleet.

You see, when I was in school at the University of Texas from '89 to '94, everyone in my ROTC unit was there because they wanted to be an F-14 driver. It was THE glamour plane, and the biggest fear everyone had was to be accepted to the Naval Aviation program only to be assigned to fly P-3's (a lumbering propeller driven plane).

The F-14 was what you thought of when you thought of Naval Aviation, and it seemed like it would always be... and now it's gone, consigned to museums and the boneyard. But, on reflection, a lot of time has passed since I was in school, and even more time has passed since Top Gun (1986) came out. Heck, the F-14 spent close to four decades in service, so I guess it is time for a new plane.

The thing is, I hardly noticed this passage of time. I haven't squandered it, that's for sure--I have a pretty interesting life, more so than most men. But it sure is flying by--faster than even the F-14.

The point is, of course, time moves faster than you think. And if you don't take fast action to get what you want (women, money, friends, success) you'll quickly start having regrets. So don't squander, waste or kill your time--invest it wisely, so you can enjoy what you have. It goes faster than you can ever imagine....

On with the fun...
