There are only a certain number of things you can do with your time. You can party, drink, do drugs, cavort with any number of questionable women, buy things, go to the movies, watch TV or read or surf the web, travel, workout, work, etc.

Some things in the list are good, some bad, but the point is the list is pretty short.  There are only so many ways you can spend your time.

Now, while I do believe in the saying that no one ever died saying he should have spent more time at the office, I also know “spending time at the office” is an attractive thing.

Men who spend all their time cavorting and partying are, in the end, not very attractive to women.  Fun in the moment, yes, but the moment soon passes and the fun soon ends.  What’s left is a pretty dull man.

Spending time working and achieving gives you a multi-dimensional, multi-faceted personality most men lack but all women find attractive.  They can tell you are, indeed, the real deal, and NOT just “faking it ‘til you make it.”

Women are attracted to men who can provide financial and emotional security and the man who spends part of his life working and achieving provides both of these things.  The party boy provides neither, nor does he have any real knowledge.  His life is out of control, while the man who seeks to achieve is in complete control.

Don’t get me wrong—I most certainly do not believe in working all the time.  But it’s an important component of attraction that you work some of the time, seeking to achieve things other men don’t. 

That trait will set you aside from other men, keeping you attractive while the party boys get old, fat, poor and dumb.

I just got back into town from my friend Yanik Silver’s Underground 6 Internet Marketing Event, and all I can say is, it reminded me of my college days. 

I was only gone 4 days, but it seems like an eternity—so much stuff happened at the event, and because of the event.

One of the most interesting things was this:  8 miles away from where the event was held is an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) studio run by a friend of mine who is a martial arts master, internet marketer, and real estate investor all at the same time.

We hung out and talked internet marketing, then he invited me up to watch his Jiu-Jitsu students train.  I couldn’t stay to watch the entire workout, but this is not for the soft or the faint of heart—you’d better be in damn good condition to make it through this workout, or you’ll collapse.

What I noticed about his students immediately was this:  they all had hard, manly facial features, hard chins, and an intensity about them only those who train rigorously to excel under duress have.

They have “the look” that drives women wild.

Later on that week, a friend of mine and I went to a party in a hotel room with 41 guys and no women.  We stayed long enough to grab a drink since the bars had closed, then we got out of there as fast as we could.

What I noticed immediately about most of the guys in the room was they had soft, feminine facial features, sunken chins (sometimes two or three) and weak energy.  In other words, they looked like just about every guy shuffling around and listening to alternative music today. 

That’s probably why there were no women in that room… they just don’t respond to that look and that energy.

So, while you don’t have to be an MMA fighter or Jiu-Jitsu master to attract women (I’m neither of those), if you train in venues to excel under duress (athletics, team sports, combat sports, business, military, etc.) you’ll develop the “look” women crave. 

The good news is, being hard or soft is a choice—most men choose soft.  If you choose hard, you’ll immediately gain an advantage over the soft in every aspect of life.  Yes, there’s a price to pay, but it’s worth it—that’s why women say, “a hard man is good to find.”

But, friendship (true friendship) DOES have a place in
relationships, especially long term ones.  In fact, if you closely
examine the ones that last, you’ll see both people are really good
friends in addition to everything else.

In fact, friendship pretty much determines whether or not a
relationship will stand the test of time.   You see, when you’re
friends with a woman, you genuinely like her in addition to being
attracted to her.

You want to see her, you want to spend time with her because it’s a
lot of fun.  You have the same interests, the same likes and the
same dislikes.  You understand each other because you are friends.

But a lot of relationships are formed where there is no friendship.
There’s white hot passion at the beginning, but when that wears
off (and it always does) there’s nothing left.  Oftentimes you find
out you really don’t like that person very much.

So, if you’re going to have a long term, lasting relationship, make
sure she’s good “friend material” in addition to everything else.
That’s what will make it stand the test of time… and in this case,
being a friend is a very good thing.

JA:  Thanks for the email, Robert–good question.  When a woman says
this to you, she’s playfully testing you to see how you’ll react,
to see what kind of man you are.  What you want to do is look her
right in the eye, smile your naughty boy smile, and say “Why yes, I
am… in fact, I’m a superstar, the highest paid player out there…
and perhaps you might just get an opportunity to step on the field
with me.”  NOW–this must be said in a fun, playful, overblown
manner where she knows you’re having a good time, and don’t take
yourself too seriously. 

The answer to the next question is along the same lines–”Only sex?
Naw, I’m not into mere sex… only hot, mind blowing sex.  Oh yeah,
and I also want your first born child.”  Again, this must be
delivered in the same manner–fun, playful, overblown.  Women love
sex as much as men, if not more–they just need to test you to see
if you’re the right kind of man, first.

For example, let’s say you’re a guy who has a hot female friend
you’d really like to be your girlfriend.  But you don’t know how,
or even how to start and you know she darn sure is not going to
make the first move.

Furthermore, you don’t want to make the wrong move and spoil your
friendship, so you’re faced with a problem.

What’s the answer?  Well, to start with, you should get your hands
on good information (such as mine), study it, and see if you can
come up with a solution the traditional way… and many times you can.
But sometimes you’re just plain stuck and no matter how much you
know, you just can’t seem to find the right path.  What should you
do then?

Simple:  take a nap.  Or go to bed.  Or to the gym.  Or do anything
else that takes you away from the problem at hand.  Why should you
do this?

Because when you do, something funny happens.  You activate your
subconscious mind, and out of nowhere it seems the answer pops up.
It may be in the middle of the night.  Or after you’ve taken a nap.
Or in the middle of your third set of preacher curls at the gym.
And when it comes, you’d better be ready to write it down.

It is amazing how well this works, but what’s even more amazing is
that this is actually a learnable skill.  The more you do it, the
better you get at it.  It just used to happen with me.  Now, when I
have a problem I can’t solve, I deliberately disconnect and go
somewhere else, and the answer comes even faster than before.

This is a powerful technique, with applications way beyond
attraction.  But it is especially useful in this difficult venue,
and when you use it, you’ll often solve problems with women few
other men ever will.

Here it is:  be a fun guy.  Duh, I know.  BUT… apparently few guys do.  You see, most guys are either deadly dull or wound so tight that when women meet a fun guy they want to hang out with him… and if he has just a few skills, they’re wildly attracted to him.

One of the biggest mistakes guys make is they take attraction way too seriously.  At its core, attraction is all about having fun, even if (or rather, especially if) you’re in a committed relationship or want to be.

Women love men who can make them laugh, who take them to cool places, who can tell them funny stories, and who can crack them up when others are serious.

They love men who laugh easily, who don’t take themselves too seriously, and who just want to get everything they can out of life

I know it sounds really basic, but the vast majority of men miss out on this important truth.  In fact, I know guys who can quote you chapter and verse when it comes to attraction, and can get lots of first dates, but no second date.

The reason?  They’re as boring as dirt and women can’t stand boring guys.
