Why did this loser attract this woman?

Dear friend,

I have just finished reading one of the funniest reports I've ever read. It's about this guy who had a problem with, well, peeing the bed (he was also short and bald), but who could, amazingly enough attract incredible women despite his, well... handicaps.

What's even more unusual is this report was written by a woman who actually dated him. I found it so amusing I posted it at www.johnalanis.com/shelley.htm for you guys to read. Check it out, it's hilarious-- http://www.johnalanis.com/shelley.htm

The paradox of attraction

Hey guys,

Attraction is a funny thing. What you think should work doesn't, and what shouldn't work does. It's not logical in any way, shape or form, and that's why men get into trouble.

See we like things on a logical level. We like that 1 plus 1 equals 2. We like that we say something to our male friends and they take it at face value. But when we try to apply our logical likes to attraction we get in big trouble.

Logically speaking, women should be attracted to nice guys. They should like guys who buy them gifts, pay attention to them, and shower them with compliments. They should fall for guys (as they do in the movies) who confess their feelings to them.

But attraction is not logical. And when you try all that logical stuff you get an "illogical result." And when you put the illogical stuff to work, you STILL get an illogical result.

If you're cocky, funny, naughty, saying things that on a logical level appear less than complimentary, and you don't care if she's attracted to you or not, she's attracted. If you tell her in a firm, humorous way how "it's going to be" (instead of asking her), she likes you.

Illogical, I know. But attraction is illogical. And if you want results in an illogical arena, you have to do illogical things. Attraction is, after all, a paradox. Avoid the things that seem logical to you, test the things that seem illogical and marvel at the results.

In other words, be like Captain Kirk, not Mr. Spock.

On with the fun....
